We use Box as our online cloud storage provider. As of 2019, Box Sync will no longer be supported and is being replaced by Box Drive. This migration is simple and easy and takes less than 10 minutes. See video for how →
A new update for Box Drive has been released (version 2.0) which implements Box Sync like features. This puts Box Sync on the list to be retired next year. The sync feature in Box Drive is called "Mark for offline" and needs to be activated on each system. I would recommend removing Box Sync and installing the latest Box Drive application and turn on "Mark for offline" where needed. |

Before installing Box Drive, remove Box Sync, then log in to box.usu.edu, click on your initials at the top right, then click on Apps, type Box Drive in the search box, follow the links to download the application then install it. When the Box Drive application is running, you should see a Box folder in your file manager and in applications when you want to open a file. You can also tell that Box Drive is running with an icon on the menu bar (mac) and system tray (windows).
